Stars in the Night
Scripture
"He counts the number of the stars. He calls them all by their names." — Psalm 147:4 (WEB)
Teaching
The God who counts the stars and calls each one by name also knows you by name. The same power that holds galaxies in place holds your life in His hands. If He can keep track of billions of stars, He can certainly keep track of you.
Tonight, if you can, look up at the sky. Consider the vastness of God's creation and the intimacy of His care. The Creator of the universe invites you to call Him Father. He is both infinitely powerful and infinitely personal.
Your life is not lost in the crowd. You are known, named, and cherished by the God of the stars.
Reflection
How does considering God's vastness alongside His personal care for you affect your faith tonight?
Prayer
Father, You who name the stars also know my name. I am in awe of Your power and grateful for Your personal love. I am small, but I am Yours. I rest in that truth tonight. Amen.

The God who names the stars knows my name. I am known, loved, and held by the Creator of the universe. Nothing about me is overlooked.
