The God of New Beginnings

"Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don't you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." — Isaiah 43:19 (WEB)
Teaching
God is always doing something new. He makes ways in wildernesses and rivers in deserts. What seems like the end is often the beginning of something extraordinary.
As this fasting season moves toward completion, God is already preparing the new thing. New doors. New opportunities. New levels of intimacy. New breakthroughs. New seasons.
Don't cling to the old when God is offering something new. Be open, be expectant, and be ready. The God of new beginnings is at work in your life right now.

What "new thing" do you sense God is doing or about to do in your life? How can you position yourself to receive it?
Prayer
Father, I embrace the new thing You are doing. Open my eyes to see it. Prepare my heart to receive it. I am ready for new beginnings. Make a way in my wilderness and rivers in my desert. Amen.
