Goodnight, Beloved

Teaching
You are God's beloved. Not because of what you have accomplished in this fast, but because of who you are in Christ. You belong to Him, and He belongs to you. This is the deepest relationship available to the human soul — intimate, unbreakable, eternal.
As you close your eyes tonight, let this be your final thought: I am loved. I am held. I am His.
The God who flung stars into space is the same God who whispers your name in the night. The God who commands armies of angels is the same God who tenderly watches over your sleep. You are His beloved, and nothing will ever change that.
Goodnight, beloved. Sleep in His arms. Tomorrow is another day of grace.

Father, I am Yours and You are mine. Thank You for loving me with an everlasting love. I close my eyes in Your peace and wake in Your joy. Goodnight, Lord. I love You. Amen.
