His Mercy Endures Forever

"Give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good; for his loving kindness endures forever." — Psalm 136:1 (WEB)

Psalm 136 repeats one phrase 26 times: "His loving kindness endures forever." The repetition is intentional — God wants us to grasp the permanence of His mercy. It is not seasonal. It does not expire. It does not decrease with use.
As you reflect on today, you may see moments where you fell short — unkind words, impatience, missed devotion time, or a lapse in the fast. But God's mercy endures forever. His love for you tonight is no less than it was this morning. Receive His mercy. Let it wash over you and prepare you for a fresh start tomorrow.

Lord, thank You for Your mercy that endures forever. Where I fell short today, Your grace is sufficient. I receive Your forgiveness and rest in Your unchanging love. Amen.
