A New Day with God

Every morning is a fresh start with God. His mercies are not recycled leftovers from yesterday — they are brand new, tailor-made for the challenges and opportunities of today. As you begin this day, take a moment to thank God for His faithfulness. He was faithful yesterday, He is faithful today, and He will be faithful tomorrow. The prophet Jeremiah wrote these words during one of the darkest periods in Israel's history. Jerusalem lay in ruins, and yet even then, God's compassion did not fail. If God's mercy was sufficient for such devastation, it is more than sufficient for whatever you face today. Start this morning by surrendering your plans, anxieties, and expectations to God. Let His mercies wash over you and set the tone for everything that follows.
