The God Who Sees
Scripture
"She called the name of Yahweh who spoke to her, "You are a God who sees," for she said, "Have I even stayed alive after seeing him?"" — Genesis 16:13 (WEB)
Teaching
Hagar was a slave, rejected and alone in the wilderness. She felt invisible — overlooked by the world. But God met her there and spoke to her by name. Her response was to call Him "El Roi" — the God who sees.
You may feel unseen today. Your struggles may be hidden from the people around you. Your prayers may feel like they are disappearing into silence. But hear this truth: God sees you. He sees your tears. He sees your sacrifice in fasting. He sees every prayer whispered in the quiet of the night.
Nothing about your situation is hidden from Him. He knows the full picture, and He is working — even when you cannot see it.

Prayer
El Roi, You are the God who sees me. You see my struggles, my tears, and my faith. Thank You for never overlooking me. I trust that You are at work in my situation, even when I cannot see it. Amen.
