The Promise of Restoration
Scripture
"I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the great locust, the grasshopper, and the caterpillar, my great army which I sent among you." — Joel 2:25 (WEB)
Teaching
Whatever the enemy has stolen — years, opportunities, relationships, health, peace — God promises to restore. Joel 2:25 is one of the most powerful restoration promises in Scripture. It was spoken to a nation that had been devastated, yet God declared that He would make up for every loss.
Restoration is one of God's specialities. He does not just repair — He makes things better than before. Job lost everything, but God restored double. Joseph spent years in prison, but God promoted him to second-in-command of Egypt. Ruth lost her husband, but God gave her a new family and placed her in the lineage of Christ.
Whatever you have lost, trust that God is the God of restoration. He is able to redeem the time and turn your mourning into dancing.

Prayer
Father, I believe in Your promise of restoration. Restore what has been lost, stolen, or broken in my life. Make all things new. Let this fast be the beginning of a new season of restoration. Amen.

God is restoring the years the enemy has stolen. Every loss is being redeemed. My season of restoration has begun, and what God is doing will surpass what I have lost.
