The God of the Impossible

Scripture

"For nothing spoken by God is impossible." — Luke 1:37 (WEB)

Teaching

Sarah was barren and elderly — God gave her a son. The Red Sea blocked Israel's escape — God parted it. A dead man lay in a tomb for four days — Jesus raised him. Throughout Scripture, God specialises in the impossible. Luke 1:37 is a statement of absolute truth: nothing — absolutely nothing — spoken by God is impossible. If He has spoken a word over your life, it will come to pass, no matter how impossible it appears. During this fast, dare to believe God for the impossible. That situation you've given up on? God hasn't. That dream that seems dead? God can resurrect it. That mountain that won't move? Speak to it in faith.
Reflection

What "impossible" situation do you need to bring before God in faith? What would it look like to truly believe Luke 1:37?

Prayer

Father, I believe that nothing is impossible for You. I bring my impossible situations before You today. What the world says cannot be done, You are able to do. Increase my faith to believe for miracles. Amen.
