The Heart of Worship
Scripture
"But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such to be his worshippers. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth." — John 4:23-24 (WEB)
Teaching
True worship is not about the perfect song, the right atmosphere, or an emotional experience — though God can use all of these. True worship is a heart fully surrendered to God, expressed honestly and in alignment with His truth.
Jesus told the Samaritan woman that the Father actively seeks worshippers. Think about that: the Creator of the universe is looking for people who will worship Him genuinely. Not out of duty or performance, but out of love and reverence.
Today, let your worship go beyond music. Let it be in how you speak to your family, how you handle stress at work, how you respond to disappointment. When every area of life becomes an offering, you become a living, breathing act of worship.

Beyond singing, how do you worship God in your daily life? What area of life could become a more intentional act of worship?
Prayer
Father, I worship You in spirit and in truth. I offer You not just my songs but my whole life. Transform me into a true worshipper who honours You in every moment. Amen.
