The Secret Place

"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty." — Psalm 91:1 (WEB)

The secret place is not a physical location — it is a posture of the heart. It is that place of intimate communion where you and God meet, undisturbed by the world's noise. In the secret place, you hear His voice more clearly, receive His peace more deeply, and experience His love more fully.
Psalm 91 promises extraordinary protection and provision to those who dwell in this secret place. Not those who visit occasionally, but those who dwell — who make it their home, their default position.
Fasting is a powerful way to enter the secret place. When we deny our flesh, we amplify our spirit. The distractions of the body give way to the whispers of God.

What does your "secret place" with God look like? How can you create more space for uninterrupted time with Him?
Prayer
Lord, I desire to dwell in Your secret place. Not as a visitor, but as one who abides. Hide me in the shadow of Your wings. Let this season of fasting draw me deeper into Your presence than ever before. Amen.
