Day 7 · Morning Devotional

Strength in Weakness

Scripture

"He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."" — 2 Corinthians 12:9 (WEB)

Teaching

During fasting, you will likely feel physically weak at times. Your energy may dip, your concentration may waver, and the temptation to give up may grow. But here is the beautiful paradox of the Kingdom: God's power is made perfect in your weakness. Paul had a "thorn in the flesh" — something that caused him ongoing struggle. Three times he asked God to remove it. Instead of removing it, God said: "My grace is sufficient for you." In other words: "My strength will carry you through what your own strength cannot." Your weakness is not a disqualification — it is an invitation for God's power to show up. When you are at your weakest, lean harder into God. He is strong enough for both of you.
Reflection

Where are you feeling weak right now — physically, emotionally, or spiritually? How can you invite God's strength into that specific area?

Prayer

Father, I embrace my weakness as an opportunity for Your strength. When I feel I cannot go on, remind me that Your grace is sufficient. Let Your power rest upon me. Amen.

✦ Declaration

When I am weak, then I am strong. God's grace is sufficient for me. His power is made perfect in my weakness.
