I declare that my prayers are powerful and effective. The God who hears prayer is attending to my voice. Every word spoken in faith moves mountains, and every petition presented before the throne of grace is received with favour.

Prayer is not a duty — it is a privilege. It is the extraordinary gift of conversation with the Creator of the universe. Paul reminds us in Philippians 4:6 to be anxious for nothing but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, to make our requests known to God. Notice the instruction: with thanksgiving. Even as we fast and pray, we do so from a position of gratitude. We thank God not only for what He has done but for what He is about to do. Fasting with a thankful heart unlocks a deeper dimension of prayer. Today, let your prayers overflow with gratitude. Thank God for His faithfulness, His provision, and His presence. Then bring your petitions boldly before His throne of grace. As we continue in week 7 of this journey, let us press deeper into what God is speaking to us. Every day of fasting is a fresh opportunity to encounter His glory and experience His transforming power.
